The vintage Goebel Hummel is entitled “Puppy Love.” It is 5 inches tall and shows a child playing a violin to his puppy. This Hummel was retired in 1988. The Hummel is made from porcelain and hand painted.Hummel figurines are based on drawings by Maria Innocentia Hummel who was inspired by children playing in her neighborhood in Germany. They always portray sweet children with a pure and innocent appearance. There are no breaks, scratches or cracks. A great addition to a Hummel collection.
