This Hakata doll figurine is a Japanese maiden by the Art of Kabuki. She is 10.5 inches tall. The Hakata doll figurine is an unglazed clay figurine which is hand made and hand painted. This vintage, brilliantly colored piece is very popular and loved in Japan. ***Never clean this figurine with water or any types of liquid because the paint will rub off. Also be very careful with handling – the oil from your hands may dull the paint. Dry clean methods only.**** Has identification on the bottom of the piece. On the base there are some scratches(see picture). Beautiful, special doll.
