This rare, vintage Hakata doll figurine is a collector’s limited edition. Katan The Noh Theater is 10 inches tall, 8 inches wide and 6 inches deep. This figurine is made from unglazed clay and is hand made and hand painted. The brilliant colors make these Hakata dolls very popular and loved in Japan. The fan in his hand is a rare find with this doll and missing in most other listings. It is also removable. The authentication is on the bottom of the piece. *****Never clean this doll with water or any other type of liquids – the paint will rub off. Also be careful when handling this doll – the oil from your hands may dull the paint. Dry cleaning methods only.*****. The paint in the back below the hair has dulled due to it being held the wrong way. No breaks or cracks, some scratches. This is taken into consideration with the price. Beautiful and unique piece.
